EMV Data Preparation System
The process of issuing EMV chip cards requires a complex procedure involving access to an HSM (Hardware Security Module).
For a magnetic card issuer to migrate to chip cards, it is necessary to develop a system known as “Data Preparation”. This task requires profound knowledge of data cryptography, HSM use and, most of all, the EMV standard (and its variants).
The “EMVS/DP” is a MS/Windows system that performs all the “Data Preparation” process through access to a common database (or file importing) and connection to an HSM, allowing new issuers a rapid migration to chip cards.
The “EMVS/DP” is able to prepare data for issuing cards following the VSDC, M/Chip 2, M/Chip 4, jEMVS and mEMVS standards.
